I expect to have the update finished soon which addresses a lot of issues. The update will require a clear of farm data. All players will receive 1000 coins as compensation.
Bug Fixes/Changes
- Plowing update: Plowing function will be updated to run slightly faster and have more streamlined code.
- Planting update: Planting will be undergoing a similar change as plowing, and should fix a lot of broken plot issues.
- The grow crop cycle will be changing: Instead of using the same instance, planting will become a separate sdk instance and database connection so that it is no longer fighting for semaphores. What this means in English is fixing a lot of problems when multiple people are doing things.
- HUDs will be allowed to process the full draw queue instead of only 20 items, i.e. HUD lag should be lessened significantly.
Good news
A new mystery modeler has decided to donate their services to the project. So hopefully we will see some optimized more detailed models. As I know the lag is starting to get bad where the farms are highly clustered at.
Upcoming Features planned
There are lots of features planned, but on the top of the list right now is the Teleport hud. This will enable you quick access to town locations, so no more having to use AW's remember teleport feature for town locations. Since the game messages make reference to this it is a confusing. If I don't get it in this update it will be in the next for sure. Make sure to be on the lookout for it.
