A new character creation is coming. No more annoying teleports! All info right where they need it. Also stats will now show exactly what you will get by picking that race/character. The current state of this update is needing some HUD handling code, but otherwise it is gtg.
I have done a lot of work optimizing this HUD to be approximately 100KB. Each character picture is right around 20KB and other hud elements are under 1KB. Switching between Race/gender should be fairly seamless.
While not the greatest addition for the loyal old timers perhaps it will help people get into the game faster and easier, and maybe encourage alternate character play
