The newest game I have been playing is called Entropia which is located in the Entropiauniverse.com site.

Beware that this is a very large download 1 gig .. and very puter intensive.

The upside is you get to collect monster sweat and dino poop.

So far on my second day I have successfully collected 1300 jars of sweat and 55 pounds of dino poop. If it keeps going like this .. well who knows.

One thing that sets it apart from others that I have been playing  (such as Silkroad ... which is cool too .. but not as much so as Entropia) is you can trade in your PED  "project entropia dollars" for real currency. Everything has a value there and it is bridge between online currency and real life currency ....

most cool

: )
Thread title:
project entropia is a terrible game they are making so much moeny off you LOL

if you want to make real currency for digital stuff try second life.
I wont spend my own money on this game .. you can play for free if you are willing to get out and do the hard work .. sweating .. dino poop scooping .. hunting fruit ..

There are many brokers willing to buy the forementioned items .. even though I hear of many investing their own money ,  it is possible to survive in their economy if you just play the game and not try to become a millionaire overnight.

As my skills are increasing I have found it easier to squeeze the sweat juices from the dinos and up to this point I have not spent any of the money I have earned in the game and will save enough to invest in mining equipment.

I am sure their will be many  peeps that will pass me by

at first  : )
sounds..interesting

my computer is prolly too crappy for it anyway  Sad  XD
oh yeah and i tried SilkRoad around easter time and i didnt think it was that great :-P
didnt say it was "great" ... said it was coool.

a pretty cool game is a tale in the desert.  always fun stuff to do.
i dont have a game to play right now >_<..ill probably look for one when school ends (which is in like 20 days  Razz  )
i miss playing stuff online but now i kinda have a life going on. too many friends to deal with hahaha
well yeah me too..but like when i get home from going  out, id play a game. and it sucks too cause im getting a job >_<....mcdonalds >____< Shockedops:
Ive had Entropia downloaded for ages, but I could never get my nick/password to work, and it looked awesome and I really want to play it, but lately I have been playing Gunz: The Duel, Counter Strike: Source, and Rakion.

So yea
yeah i think im gonna try a counter strike (idk which one) when my friend gives me his old video card. it looked pretty cool.
Source has more players and better graphics than Condition Zero
To date I have collected 3200 bottles of Vibrant Sweat .. 55 pounds of dino poop .. 24 pounds of fruit .. and my sweating skill is now at level 79 which will top out at 200.  Though it is a bummer that my sweating skill will end once it tops out at 200 , I have noticed it is adding skill points slower now that I have leveled it so high , which is a trade off since it is now easier to collect Vibrant Sweat and I am sure it will take some time to hit the 200 mark.

I have decided to hold out in selling any more of my Vibrant Sweat or other items that I find to hold out for the very best prices since they fluctuate , and I have not spent any money yet and plan not to until I get a substantial stash or I am topped out in sweating skill.

Another benefit of not buying items such as armor and other defensive or offensive items is my defensive skills and other ancillary skills are raising along side my Mindforce skills as I sweat and evade the beasts.

Now that I am learning some of the tricks , I can see that there is large contingent of seasoned players that prey on noobs and are often inquiring of my noobish personna since I wear no armor and do not hunt yet. There are countless Brokers that do nothing more than inquire to purchase items from noobs at a low price , only to sell them at a inflated price elsewhere. I must learn the trade routes to see if there is a way I might take advantage of this system.

Off to sweat the dinos

Earth!
Welcome!

Shocked
Havent updated this thread in a bit.

Currently I am at level 1334 sweat gathering , I had previously mentioned that the level cap was 200 , but it was later removed so sweating is a constant , but boring source of revenue.
One nice thing of sweating though is the evade skill is greatly affected by sweating since the beast is eating you most of the time your sweating it. Personally I sweat the mob until it notices me and charges , at that time I pummel it to death with my Powerfist ( one of my favorite weapons ).

I have  now  been playing Entropia for 1 1/2 years , and am still considered a noob.  In the beginning I did not see how anyone could waste their money by depositng into this game when there was ways to earn money the free way. I have since learned to play a more intense level you really need to deposit to get started. I have deposited enough now to probably buy a world server for Merc.

Hunting is probably the most favored activity in Entropia , its certainly one of mine , though I tend to craft when I'm bored with hunting. I have collected numerous armor sets that allow me to hunt beasts that could kill me in one bite when I first started.

Ok .. now I must go smack some animals around ..

Bones
so BB is saying he's earned 42k off entropia, darn wish i would start playing these money making scheme games.
Is he saying that he's earned that, or that he's payed Entropia that?
Buy low, sell high. Capitalism at its finest. It sounds entertaining, if your the type that likes to grind out items endlessly. It such an environment, theres always gonna be people trying to hustle you out of your hard earned work, but at the same time these people have been in the business longer than you, and probably have buyers already lined up, whereas you dont have any regular buyers at all. For the time being, even the highest amount you can get for your wares will prolly still seem low compared to what your buyers are makeing off the resale.
I wont be so bold to say I have made any money playing entropia , it is quite the opposite I am sure.

Any possible money profit I would be able to claim would only be known if I were to liquidate my character , which is something I do not intend to do anytime soon.

There are many aspects to the game besides making money anyway , such as the community involvement , such as we had in addrpg.
I wont say its the same , but I will say its a very good community , more mature for sure.

I still believe some here would find it a lot of fun if they would at least try it , which would take nothing away from the new addrpg that is coming.

here is a link to the main player based forum , it has a ton of info on all things entropia:
