Arena thread games are very funny games that can be used to train roleplaying. Anyone can create their arena, and then wait for a challenger to step in.

So what is an arena? You and your opponent will each one write down a character and then have the characters fight each other. Each of you will write the movements of your own fighter. Eventually, one of you will be defeated. Of course, here you will need some COMMON SENSE. You can just write miraculous ways for your character to escape defeat every time, but that goes against the spirit of the thing. Basically, your character is defeated when you admit defeat to the creativity of your opponent.

Please tag arena threads will [ARENA] in the beginning of the subject line.

I will make an example arena.
Thread title:
Only two people can be in an arena at the same time. If there were two fighters in an arena, and in a moment there is only one, even though the second one is not dead or defeated yet (stepping out of the arena is defeat) another fighter can join in the arena. If somehow the previous fighter returns, the three of them can be in the arena at the same time, but if one of them is defeated or kicked out, the limit goes back to two. A good example here is the Atrus arena - Atrus can return at any time, but when one of the three leaves, another third fighter won't be able to join from the outside.
Ok, I'm going to put the challengers for each arena in its topic (you people can do that too, from now on). The notation is:

($challenger1,$challenger2,...,$challengerN)

Where $ is one of the following symbols:

= Means no winner
> Means the challenger won
< Means the defender won
? Means they're still fighting
Sounds interesting.
Since I don't feel right junking up an arena I felt better to post this here, since then Brain could simply edit the rules if he chooses. I feel that since Logan posted he needed more time it was similar to the character debating his next move (perhaps sleeping). I was under the impression that these games are for humorous fun:

If Logan decides that he would rather take action, then by all means do so, and I'll edit the battle to reflect his actions (remember he can always come back and edit the post where he needed time later). Just a reminder, this was meant to be fun, not something so serious Tongue.

P.S. Nice mythology reference Kay, I was debating having Odysseus or Persephone to combat you, but I think it would be more fun to see what someone else thinks of  Wink
*shrugs* Not that I need the reminder, but I wasn't trying to make it serious, silly-face. The most-fun games are based on rules, so I was thinking of turn-taking. Note taken, stay out of Amael's games, lol.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment, Amael. I like mythology and even went so far as to look up a name on Wikipedia =)
Not a problem, I actually took a Ancient Mythology class in college, had a roommate that was convinced he was going to be a mythology professor...until he realized that was more mythology than what he was studying. To stay on topic, I never mind constructive criticism and I hope that you're not offended, quite frankly I've enjoyed when we've had the chance to roleplay in the past Smiley.
Those were fun times. I'm actually starting to get involved in actual role-plays/cosplays irl with my friends now...should be interesting. Not quite sure about making a character for one of these arena games as it seems I'm going to be quite busy, but I might some time.
